Mail to this address is received for you and handled online: you choose to have it scanned, forwarded or kept. How many items are included, how far we forward and how fast we aim to process depend on the plan.
How the virtual mailbox worksA mailbox or member-number address is served by a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency. USPS asks each recipient to sign Form 1583 and show two forms of ID before mail is delivered (DMM 508.1.8).
